Remember...every team makes the playoffs. It just depends on what tier you make. Here are the breakdowns for each of the three tiers:
Tier A: All 4 division winners + 2 wild card teams
Tier B: The next 4 ranked teams (by %)
Tier C: The next 4 (6 in AL) ranked teams by %.
The top tier is locked up in the NL. Baltimore and Detroit still have a shot to crack the top tier in the AL.
