Starter Stone pitched a strong game for Baltimore. Game MVP Al Bumbry went 4 for 5. His double in the 7th followed by a Dauer Single and a Murray homerun put the game out of reach and Baltimore lead 6-1. Being a double header and Toronto wanting to rest pitchers the threw a tired Willis under the bus and in the 9th Baltimore added another 10 runs.

The first inning looked like a slugfest was in the works. Both teams started off 2 runs. Then game MVP Scotty McGregor settled down and shutdown Toronto. Over the next 7 innings he allowed only 3 hits. Meanwhile Singleton hit a shot to the 2nd deck in centrefield with Murray onboard. Martinez took to the mound in the 9th and got the save. --submitted by Robert Chisholm--
